Linkflote demand in the Antarctic!

VolkerBrooks has seen a marked increase in enquiries for its Linkflote pontoon floatation system from across the globe in recent months. The company has regular customers in Europe and enquiries from Africa, South America, North America, and the Middle East, as well as an enquiry from the Antarctic have led to some far away deliveries of the Linkflote pontoons.

Most recently eight new Linkflote pontoons were exported out to a bridge and tunnelling contractor in New Hampshire USA and four Linkflote units exported to a regular customer from Italy. Whilst the latest order to come in for the pontoons is for six scow end units for export to Africa.

Linkflote is a versatile and easily handled modular pontoon flotation system that is fully compatible with Uniflote pontoons. The pontoons are manufactured at the VolkerBrooks facilities in Morecambe, Lancashire, where the company also holds the largest stock of Linkflote and Uniflote pontoon hire equipment in the United Kingdom. Special units and configurations can be manufactured to a client's specific requirements.

VolkerBrooks also hold an extensive range of hire equipment for use with the Linkflote system comprising - mooring winches, spud poles, ramps, workboats propulsion units and manufacture a wide range of accessories for use with Linkflote and Uniflote units.
